Develop integrated data systems that analyze police activity and its relationship to public safety, to better understand how to have the greatest impact on maintaining and increasing public safety.
Use full-cycle analysis (officer, court, recidivism) to understand the impact of specific officer activities (i.e., radio calls, traffic stops, investigations, pedestrian stops, arrests) as it pertains to specific crimes and overall public safety.
Develop heat maps based on calls for service, investigations, and requests for patrol that are easily accessible with trackable engagement so that officer activity toward a specific problem can be monitored and credited toward them and their efforts.
Provide peace officers with this information so they can make informed decisions about the work they do.
